Use:

Screen Printers (compact, medium or large) is used in DSSC to apply the wide range of screen printable DSC materials onto DSSC glass substrate in a precise, controllable manner.

Description:

The Screen Printer is typically used for the application of an electrical conductor to form a bus bar, a catalyst paste to form the counter electrode and a semiconductor paste to form the working electrode. The flexible nature of this piece of equipment allows users to experiment with the application of other cell components such as electrolytes and sealants.

Controllable squeegee speed and controllable pressure allow for precise and repeatable prints for both small and large production runs. Operation is semi-automatic or manual. The chemically inert flood blade ensures no contamination of Dye Sensitized Solar Cells.

These screen printers are the best choice for DSSC research because they are optimized for use with DSSC material sets by the inclusion of jigs and flood-blades. The electro pneumatics of this machine provides infinite control of flood & squeegee blades which is essential for controlling layer thickness.
